Mandan High School

            SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION              

Mandan High School will soon start the registration process for the coming summer school session.  Forms may be picked up in the Counseling Office on February 13^th.  The first day that summer school registrations can be returned is February 14^th.  Summer school will be conducted as two separate semesters each worth ½ credit.  Students may register for only one semester of the full-year courses.  However, in the full-year courses, preference will be given to students registering for the full credit.  Students may sign up for as many summer school classes as the schedule will allow as some class times overlap.  Below is a list of the summer school classes being offered this year:

Classes may be held or cancelled, based on the number of students enrolling and the availability of instructors. Participants are registered on a first-come first-served basis; therefore, it is imperative that students turn in their registration form as soon as possible because some classes do fill up quickly. Forms will be numbered as they are received. Registration for Swimming, Driver Education and Career Management/Health is held later in the spring. Tentative schedule for classes are as follows:

Science classes 7:30 am – 12:30 pm

Semester 1 (May 29^th – June 15^th)

Semester 2 (June 18^th – July 9^th)

All other semester and full year classes 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Semester 1 (May 29^th – June 15^th)

Semester 2 (June 18^th – July 9^th)

Swimming classes

Session 1 (May 29^th – June 25^th) 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Session 2 (May 29^th – June 25^th) 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Session 3 (June 25^th – July 23^rd) 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Session 4(June 25^th – July 23rd^h)1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

All class schedules do fluctuate a bit due to field trips! Also, please remember that summer school begins the new school year, so these classes count as part of the 2012-13 school year.
