SUMMER SCHOOL 2026 FOR GRADES K - 4

The 2026 State Sponsored Summer School for grades K - 4 will be held at Lewis & Clark Elementary School.

(5th Grade summer school will be at Mandan Middle School)

Summer School Dates: Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 - Thursday, July 9th, 2026

Summer School Hours: 8:00am - 12:15pm

Summer School Location:Lewis & Clark Elementary 600 14th St NW Mandan, ND 58554

Registration Opens: March 9th, 2026 Registration Closes: March, 25th, 2026

All students who are registered will be accepted & enrolled in summer school. Additional information and reminders will be sent out in May to parents via email.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Students can be dropped off no earlier than 7:45am at the south playground. Students need to be picked up no later than 12:30pm. Supervision will not be extended beyond these stated times.

Students attending Summer MAC at Lakewood will have busing available to and from summer school for both locations.

Building Entry & Exit:- Students who are dropped off or picked up by car should enter and exit through the east door (loop drop-off area). - Bus students will enter and exit through the west door on 6th Ave.

Attendance: Attendance is an important element to provide maximum success for your child at Summer School. If your child is going to miss more than 5 days of summer school, please reconsider whether they should attend.

Welcome to Summer School Bussing for 2026!

We will be running 3 Summer routes this year again. These routes will be stopping at neighborhood schools and safe places. They are outlined below with bus number, driver, and times for each stop. Please be at the stop 5 minutes earlier than posted.

**7:20am at Lakewood, 7:35-7:40 Twin City Estates Office, 7:45-7:50 Custer Elem, 7:55 to 8:00 Lewis Clark Elem…Will drop at MMS if there are students on board. M2 Duane

**7:20am at Spirit of Life Church, 7:35 FTL, 7:45 Mary Stark, 7:55 Roosevelt, 8:00am to Lewis and Clark Elem…Will drop at MMS if there are students on board. M22, Paty

**7:20am Red Trail Elem, 7:40 MMS Bus Loop, 7:45-7:50 West side Universal Park, 7:55-8:00 Lewis and Clark Elem. Will drop MMS if there are students on board. M12 Virginia

Return routes will start at 12:15-12:20 and be the exact opposite of what is listed above. If your students are attending MAC programs, please make sure your students get on the correct bus for that school.

Please bear in mind there is no door to door, rural, or home bussing for Summer School. We will only pick up and drop at the schools and safe places designated above. If your student is very young, we will not drop off unless there is a parent or guardian there to receive the student.
