Kindergarten Registration

***Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open. ***

Mandan Public Schools is excited to welcome students to the kindergarten class for the 2024-2025 school year! The first day of school is August 28, 2024. Your child must be age 5 by July 31st, 2024 to attend in the Fall.

REGISTRATION

To register please stop at the district office, 901 Division St NW, to complete the registration paperwork, submit the required documents & receive a readiness guide OR Click HERE for 2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration Paperwork.

Online registration is not available.

Registration is open throughout the year but please note it is highly encouraged to complete the enrollment process by July 1, 2024 to insure a higher probability of your student attending their neighborhood boundary school. Due to capacity limitations, those who wait too long may be placed in a different school.

Documents needed at time of registration:

·      Child’s Birth Certificate

·      Current Immunization Record

·      Proof of Residency

Open house dates will be announced later this Summer by each school individually, completed student registrations will be notified by their assigned school.

Registration for the current school year (2023-2024) can be done at:

OFFICE HOURS: 8:00am -4:30pm Monday - Thursday 8:00am -4:00pm Friday

DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT REGISTRATION:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of residency

Acceptable documents – lease/rental agreement OR mortgage statement OR purchase agreement OR a current utility, water or cable bill, renters / home owners insurance policy

NOTE: Please be aware that once all registration paperwork is submitted, it may be 2 full days before an Elementary age student (K-5) will attend classes.

For middle and high school students, it can take 3-4 days after you register your child for classes. We need to request records from the previous school as well as build a class schedule for your child.
