Mandan Public Schools will not close school solely due to cold temperatures. Our school buildings are warm, safe, and provide a secure environment for students during extremely cold weather.

Families always have the option to keep their child home during periods of extreme cold. If you choose to do so, please notify your child’s school on the day of the absence. Students are responsible for completing any missed work.

We encourage all students to dress appropriately for North Dakota winters.
